Pilot Killed as Embraer Corisco II Turbo Crashes onto Metro Tracks in Belo Horizonte, Brazil
A 1988 Embraer/Neiva EMB-711ST Corisco II Turbo, registration PT-VHE, crashed into a metro maintenance facility in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on October 9, 2026, killing its sole occupant. The aircraft struck a building and electrical infrastructure before burning on railway tracks shortly after takeoff. CENIPA is investigating the accident.
